Blueberry Clafouti

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 3 cups Blueberries
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1 tbs Pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a 9-inch baking dish, and add the blueberries, in a blender, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, salt and flour, and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter over the blueberries and bake in the pre heated oven until browned and set in the middle, about 40 minutes.
  4. Serve hot, warm or room temperature topped with plenty of powdered sugar.

  • Because the clafouti Is not very sweet, cover with more powdered sugar than you think advisable. Use a shaker, a flour sifter or a fine-mesh strainer to apply the sugar.
