Linda's Apple Pie
This traditional apple pie has a top crust.

Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts
- 7 cups apples, sliced
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter for top crust
Instructions
- Slice the apples
- In a mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients into apples
- Placed one pie crust into a greased 9" pie pan
- Pour bowl contents onto crust
- Cover with second crust
- Brush top crust with milk, cinnamon & sugar
- Dot top crust with small pieces of butter
Notes
I use half Granny Smith apples and half another baking apple
