Linda's Granola

Total Time 1 hour 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup coconut, unsweetened
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup safflower oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup OR honey
- 1 cup Kellogg's Al-Bran Buds (optional)
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients (except nuts and coconut) together
- Add oil and sweetener (honey or maple syrup) and mix well.
- Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- Add the All-Bran Buds
- At this point you may wish to add raisins, dried cranberries or other dried fruit or they could be added when serving.

- Substitute sunflower, canola or other vegetable oil for safflower oil
- Substitute maple syrup for honey
