Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 dash salt
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 stalk celery, trimmed and chopped
- 1 green bell pepper -- chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot sticks
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp whole pepper
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Bring vinegar, sugar, water, and dash of salt to a boil.
- To boil eggs that don't turn green, put eggs from refrigerator in cold water in a kettle. Bring to a boil. boil 3 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes in the same water. Put in sink and cool with cold water, then peel.
