Scalloped Potatoes & Ham

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups 2% milk (consider using 1/3 half & half)
  • 6 cups sliced potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced or diced ham
  • 1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Make a white sauce - melt butter, stir in dry ingredients
  3. Add mink
  4. Cook & stir 2 minutes
  5. In a greased casserole and in layers combine potatoes, ham.
  6. Cover and bake 65 - 75 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for another 15 - 20 minutes.
