We would walk into the house from Harrisburg and Nanny would say, "Well, I've made supper and you're late!" I would peek into the oven. There was a, casserole of something. Franks and beans! She had put the beans with hot dogs on the top in the oven about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. We arrived about 7:00 --- there was a great chicken place not to far from the house. Needless to say, that was our dinner!! Mom loved the chicken - she might have had an ulterior motive there!

Do you remember Pete how we used to laugh at the franks and beans?? And Mom would laugh along with us!
