Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup celery chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 tbsp shortening
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 green peppers
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 tbls salt
- 1 1/2 can tomato soup
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Cook celery and onion in shortening until soft. Add the meat.
- Cook until pink disappears, stirring to separate meat particles.
- Cut off a slice of green pepper lenghwise, remove the seeds, parboil for 6 minutes, then drain.
- Add the noodles, seasonings and 1/2 can of tomato soup to meat.
- Stuff the peppers. Arrange in greased baking dish.
- Bake about 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
- Pour on the can of tomato soup 15 minutes before removing from oven.
